Plymouth Rally
Plymouth Rally 22nd to 24th April.
We have now been able to finalise the basic arrangements for the Plymouth Rally. All the Plymouth marinas are under pressure as many yachts have returned to the UK due to Brexit. Thus they have very little visitor capacity.
QAB have however been able to find room for 15 yachts for the nights of 22nd and 23rd April.
We have organised a dinner for the evening of 23rd at the Pier Masters Restaurant as the Royal Western Yacht Club has dramatically reduced its floor area and restaurant capacity due to Covid. We have been able to secure additional numbers at the restaurant for members who are based locally or want to come by car.
Due to the pressure on the marina and the restaurant we will need to secure these bookings by early payment and a deposit.
Once members have signed up for the rally we will collect berthing fees through the Club, together with a £10 deposit per person for the restaurant.
Nearer the time we will circulate details of other events such as a drinks party and activities ashore if members want to take part. More details to follow.
If more than 15 yachts book we will have to form a waiting list.
