Invitation to the Wayfarer Inland Championships 2024 as part of the Craftinsure National Circuit Series
A message from the UK Wayfarer Class Association
Dear Wayfarer Sailors,
We are delighted to invite you to the first Craftinsure National Series Circuit of the season - the Inland Championships at Datchet Water on the 13-14th April 2024. This is a great opportunity to test your skills and enjoy some friendly competition with fellow Wayfarer enthusiasts. Whether you are a seasoned racer or a newcomer to the class, you will find a warm welcome and a supportive atmosphere at this event.
The Inland Championships will consist of six races over two days, with three races per day. The first start on Saturday will intended be at 1130 and on Sunday at 10:30. A race briefing is scheduled for 1030 on the Saturday. The entry fee is £40 for visitors and £20 for Datchet Water members. Eligible boats can enter by completing the online registration form and submitting it, together with the required fee, via the DWSC website event page: Datchet Water Sailing Club (dwsc.co.uk)
Datchet Water is a large reservoir located near Windsor, with easy access from the M4 and M25. The club has excellent facilities, including a spacious clubhouse, changing rooms, showers, and a bar. There is also ample parking on site.
