SUP Open Event
Burghfield Sailing Club is a stunning setting, and we're delighted to be able to bring our brand of race events to this new venue in West Berks. With junior races taking place for the first time, and many first-time racers taking to the water for their first SUP event in both the junior and 5km categories, it will hopefully be a fun day that kickstarts a journey for some of you. We hope you enjoy the setting, and the race formats, and we look forward to seeing you.
TIMINGS:
Arrive from 1.30pm
Food served: from 1.30pm
Registration/board drop off from 1.45pm
Junior race briefing: 3.15pm
Junior race starts: 2km 3.30pm, 1km 3.32pm
Junior race prizegiving: 4.15pm
8km & 5km race briefing:
4.15pm 8km race start: 4.45pm 5km race start: 4.50pm (Leisure category will wear orange bibs)
Prize giving: 6.30pm
Site closed: 8pm
