RYA Dinghy Training 2023 » L1/L2 - 16th & 23rd September
RYA Level 1 - Start Sailing course assumes that the student has not sailed before. This is the first of two courses to build your confidence and skills helping you to become a competent sailor in light winds.
RYA Level 2 - Basic Skills course assumes sailing skills to the standard of Level 1 Start Sailing, and aims to enable you to sail confidently on all points of sail and make decisions in good conditions.
The courses include both practical and theory components including sailing theory and background, clothing and equipment, rigging, ropework, sailing techniques and manoeuvres, launching and recovery, capsize recovery and essential safety knowledge.
