WMYC Dinghy Event » Round Mersea Island Race
The Round Mersea Island Race 2023 takes place this year on 2nd September 2023.
We welcome once again entries from windsurfer race boards, rowing boats (gigs/skiffs), dinghies, Kayaks and catamarans
When entering the event please note, your chosen start time and class of boat cannot be changed after receipt of entry. Port or Starboard rounding is chosen when registering. For safety reasons the maximum number of boats we can safely accommodate irrespective of type is 150, so enter early. Once that total number is reached we will start a waiting list

Fee £25 per vessel, payable on line at entry.

Whilst Starting the last start time is 1530hrs, it takes around a further three hours to get all the competitors back safely and everyone accounted for. Therefore we do not anticipate prizegiving being before 1900 hrs. The evening Bar-B-Q will be from around 1915hrs. To help us we would appreciate it if you could buy tickets with entry as this does help us ensure we minimise any food waste
