DERWENT WATERSIDE PARK KAYAK COMPETITION 2025 - We are delighted to announce that our first Kayak Competition of the year which will be taking place from Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club.

This competition will be delivered in partnership Derwent Waterside Park and Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club. This will be our base of operations for the weekend.

Fishing will take place over the Saturday (9am-5pm) and Sunday (8am-4pm). Prizes will be given for longest fish of each species (Pike, Perch and Trout) and combined length of longest of each of the 3.

Competition date 26th & 27th April 2025

Competition Fee: £140

We look forward to welcoming competitors to Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club from 6pm Friday 25th April for those wishing to camp, hot food will be available to purchase at the Club House from 6pm - 8pm. Our fully licensed bar will be open from 6pm - 10.30pm. Competitors will have access to our toilet and shower facilities (24 hours). If you're looking for more comfortable accommodation then you can take advantage of our exclusive DRSC 20% discount room rate at Slaley Hall Hotel (a discount link will be sent to you after we receive your booking).
