Castle Cove Sailing Club

11 day cruise down to The Isles Of Scilly, with 4 - 5 days free to explore the Islands.

Starting from Salcombe and sailing to the Isles of Scilly via stopovers at Falmouth and Newlyn, but faster sailing return to Weymouth planned with minimal stops (and possible overnight passage)

4 to 5 days of mooring / anchoring in various places around the Isles of Scilly either side of neap tides, including access to all the main islands and plenty of free time to explore the Islands

Mooring or anchoring at various locations around the Islands on a first come, first served basis (sorry, but no bookings possible in advance and no marinas in the Islands!)

Dinghies required to access the shore, but lots of inter island ferry services that run regular scheduled runs between the different Islands.

Depart Salcombe Westward on Thurs 29th in morning to catch the Westerly tides from 11.00

NOTE: this trip forms PART 2 of a two part trip starting with the Dartmouth & Salcombe cruise between 24 - 29 May, departing Salcombe Westward on Thursday 29 May. If you don't want to join the Dartmouth & Salcombe trip, then either plan to meet up with the rest of the boats in Salcombe on Wed 28th May or meet up in Falmouth either on 29th or 30th May.
