CCSC Cruisers » French North Brittany coast cruise
16 day long leisurely Summer cruise to the North Brittany Coast, hinged off a visit to channel Islands on way out and back.
Stopping at a range of popular & pretty French ports, depending on wind & weather conditions (with days off in between cruising legs).
Likely working from left to right along the Brittany coast to avoid the crowds of the "Tour des Ports race" (which runs from St Vaast on 6th July to Granville on 11th July via Jersey and the West coastline of Cherbourg Peninsula)
Example French Ports itinerary are Treguier / Lezardrieux, Pampol, St Quay, St Malo, Granville and hopefully a lunch stop at Iles Chausey!
Timed to avoid the worst of school holidays and to match spring tides along French coast, to avoid risks of being stuck in French ports from low tides (known as being "neaped in")
Note: no bookings will be made in advance, due to the changeability of the weather and flexibility of which sequence of French Ports to visit
