Dorset Police is holding their first Harbour Watch Conference to further promote the successful Harbour Watch scheme which operates along the Dorset coastline.
Speakers include:
- Border Agency
- Poole Harbour Commissioners
- RNLI
- Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP) Seafront Manager
- Dorset Police Marine team
All of whom have an interest in trying to ensure Harbour Watch acts as the 'eyes and ears in the harbours and associated rivers, reporting any incidents of concern to the appropriate authorities.
Teas / coffees will be available from 17:30 and the conference will be opened by the Police and Crime Commissioner, David Sidwick at 18:00 and closed by the Mayor of Poole, Cllr Jo Clements at 21:00.
