A celebration of 30 years of Sailability
This event is part of the Woolverstone Project's 30th Anniversary celebration, but is also intended to be a wider celebration of Sailability in the RYA Eastern Region. The event is open to sailors from Sailability groups, local volunteers and local organisers. All will be welcome to come and celebrate the work of Sailability in the region.
Programme for the day
There will be a range of activities on offer during the day. Recreational sailing and racing will be on offer to all participants sailors and volunteers alike. The sailing will take place in a fleet of Sonars (four of these will kindly be provided by East Anglian Sailing Trust (EAST) and one by the Woolverstone Project) and the racing will be in a fleet of AJAX 23's (kindly provided by the Royal Harwich YC and their members).
There will also be river trips available during the day on the Woolverstone Project's Wheelyboat this is accessible to any user without hoisting being required.

- 10.45 Racing in AJAX for sailors and volunteers
- Recreational sailing in Sonars
- Boat trips in Wheelyboat

- 13.30 Further sailing sessions
- 15.30 Prizegiving & closing remarks
- Tea and cake, departure
High tide at RHYC is at 13.45 BST
Cost for the day
The cost of the event for participants is £10. This is a minimum donation if people feel able to pay more then this would be appreciated, and any surplus will just go towards supporting Sailability activities. This fee covers all the sailing and catering.
